Business Development Professional - NYC Metro

A leading provider of renewable energy, energy efficiency and green buildings solutions for multifamily, commercial and industrial buildings is seeking a Business Development Professional to join their team. Clients include building owners, management companies, developers, contractors, architects, governments and utility companies. Must be a CONNECTOR with contacts in the buildings industry in the NY Metro area. Must understand how buildings "go together". This is a technical, consultative sale!

Key Requirements:

  • Network of connections in the New York and U.S. real estate and building management industry as well as in City, State, and/or Federal governments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proposal writing and stellar presentation skills
  • Creativity in locating new clients and sources of revenue with a proven track record of closing sales

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Energy efficiency experience
  • Renewable energy experience (esp. solar PV, solar thermal, CSP, wind)
  • Building systems, HVAC, or architectural experience
  • Energy Star certification experience
  • LEED, CEM, CEA, or PE Accreditation

 

Human Resources

Manager, Leadership Development / Talent Management- Qingdao China (Mandarin NOT required!) Minimum of a 2 year commitment requested

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage Talent Inventory project including identification of key leadership skills; assessment of supervisors and above to determine areas for development; and develop and implementation of programs to develop those skills
  • Manage leadership / supervisory needs assessment, design, and development of coursework for the “management learning area” within the Corporate University including daily operations of the program to ensure seamless delivery of courses and materials, and timely completion of other developmental activities
  • Develop high performing Designer/Developers and ensure overall team effectiveness to meet program, departmental, and corporate goals
  • Ensure quality of coursework and other developmental activities through evaluation and ongoing maintenance
  • Communicate and collaborate with all other departments regarding existing coursework and other developmental activities, and to identify and clarify needs across the organization
  • Draw upon internal and external content experts as appropriate to ensure accuracy of program content and reflect the latest developments for the specialty area

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in related environment including 5 years experience in management

Director, Human Resources - Napa County, CA

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop Organization and People strategy to support business goals and implement so the outcomes are sustained and embedded in the following areas: Organization Effectiveness, Employee Engagement, Talent Management, Reward, Leadership, and Coaching.

Show deep understanding of functional technical areas such as benefits, payroll, employment law (collective and individual). Orchestrate other functional experts as required to maximize the effectiveness of the whole HR function in supporting the business.

Experienced and highly technical Senior Business Analyst needed to join Development team for leading, privately-held company. Be “right hand” to Director of Development; excellent opportunity for growth!

  • Serve as a liaison to our internal and external customers
  • Gather and prepare business cases for new requirements, enhancement requests, and project ideas
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings and create customer community forums
  • Support development project charter vision, maintain the Roadmaps, and work with the stakeholders to adjust it based on business needs
  • Coordinate with 3rd Party vendors on outsourced projects
  • Document systems and processes, prepare functional design documents and customer facing materials

Key Requirements:

  • 7+ years as a business analyst or project manager required; Application Development experience a plus

Sr. Application Developer - Fairfield County, CT 

Experienced and highly creative Senior Application Developer needed to join Development team for leading, privately-held company. Must be familiar with “deep web” development using .NET 3.5 (C#, VB), ASP.NET, SharePoint 2010 and MS Access with SQL Server 2008.

Key Requirements:

  • Significant design and development experience (multi-tier Windows and/or Web applications)
  • 5+ years of .NET programming
  • 4+ years of RDBMS experience (SQL Server preferred), relational design and development
  • Strong object oriented development
  • Advanced coding / debugging skills
