MIS Manager - Qingdao, China

Summary: Overall management of MIS / application development activities. Support the company’s business strategy, specifically in needs assessment, design, implementation and maintenance of management information systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily operations of the MIS team by planning and executing projects, establishing realistic estimates for timelines and costs to ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively and timely
• Ensure integration of company’s business systems; Ensure systems are scalable, affordable, and meet business objectives
• Develop and retain the MIS team by providing effective leadership, recruiting, coaching, training, and performance evaluation to team members
• Establish annual MIS budget and follow up with the budget execution to ensure the budget is within control.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years experience in leading system integration and implementation projects in a growth environment
• Experience in budget management
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills(writing samples requested) with ability to explain complex technical initiatives to non-technical managers. Programming background preferred.
• Mandarin not required
